A few days ago I got my computer back together (I’ve been using another computer in the interim). Anyway, since the whole restoring-from-image thing didn’t work, I tried my old copy of linux (Fedora Core 5). Well, it turns out that there’s no support for my audio or wireless cards. So I did some quick research and found out that FC10 is the latest version. I’ve really fallen behind. So, I used my parent’s DVD burner and now I’ve got Fedora Core 10, which does support all my hardware and which I sincerely recommend to all the heathen Windows users out there, unless you’re a gamer. Gamers should generally avoid Linux unless you’ve got WINE.

I’ve been having some adware problems with my computer. So, I tried to restore the image last night. That didn’t work, so I’m just going to give Fedora Core another go. While I’m getting stuff up and running, posts will probably be intermittent and communication will be off-and-on. Please bear with me during these technical difficulties.
